Day 1: Friday

  • Arrive at Worldsaway Retreat

    Get settled for an evening of good conversation with your friends.

  • Savour a cheese platter and cheeky wine at sunset

    Get settled for an evening of good conversation with your friends. Enjoy the panaromic views of the Glasshouse Mountains from the deck in your cabin, or our communal Retreat Deck.

  • Have a relaxing dinner

    Stay onsite at Worldsaway for your first night to settle in and get a good night’s rest. Prepare a home cooked meal in your cabin.

Day 2: Saturday

  • Yoga, Walk, Run or Hike

    Start your day off with some exercise in nature on site, parkrun at Ocean View or nearby at the D’Aguilar National Park.

  • Visit Ocean View Estates for a wine tasting or lunch

    Take a trip to Ocean View Estates, where you can enjoy wine tasting and restaurant facilities. Find out more about transportation options here.

  • Unwind and relax

    Unwind with a good book.

  • Dinner at Birches Restaurant

    Enjoy a delicious dinner at Birches Restaurant at Mt Mee. Birches is a licensed restaurant which has spectacular views of the surrounding rural countryside and out to the Redcliffe Peninsula, Moreton Bay, Moreton Island and beyond.

Day 3: Sunday

  • Slow morning walk on property, or enjoy the view from your cabin

    Sip on a hot tea or coffee and take in the view one last time before you leave. Or take a final walk around our hinterland property.

  • Check out by 10am

    We ask that guests check out before 10am on their final day.

  • Breakfast and shopping at quaint yesteryear town of Dayboro

    Dayboro, on your way back to Brisbane, has some great restaurants and cafés to enjoy a delicious breakfast. There are also some beautiful gift shops and a gallery.

    If it happens to be the first Sunday of the month, you can also visit the Dayboro Markets between 8am and 12pm.

Accommodation

We have two eco cabins which are perfect for a girls’ weekend away.

They both:

  • Sleep up to 6 people,
  • Are fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning,
  • Include a stereo, electric blankets and all other linen,
  • Have fully self-contained kitchens with full gas stove, fridge, basic condiments and more!
